Fresh-pressed cider
Our second batch of cider hits the press Thursday night, 10/10. We should have fresh cider for the next week or so with frozen available after that.
What’s in our cider? It’s a simple recipe — Just apples and more apples. No added sugar, no added water.
Our cider is NOT pasteurized, so it is important to keep it refrigerated. If you want to save it for more than a week, you can definitely freeze it. Just be sure to remove a cup or so of liquid before freezing.
For those who like to home brew – it is perfect for hard cider.
Another thing to do with that lovely cider – try whipping up a batch of apple cider donuts – good stuff!
Fun Fact: It takes over 30 apples to make a gallon of cider.
