Fresh-pressed cider
We make our own cider. We use a blend of apple varieties so it isn’t just one note.
As to timing, we like to make our first batch once the Jonathans apples are ripe – usually mid September
What’s in our cider? It’s a simple recipe — Just apples and more apples. No added sugar, no added water.
Our cider is NOT pasteurized, so it is important to keep it refrigerated. If you want to save it for more than a week, you can definitely freeze it. Just be sure to remove a cup or so of liquid before freezing.
For those who like to home brew – this is the cider for you
Another thing to do with that lovely cider – try whipping up a batch of apple cider donuts – good stuff!
Fun Fact: It takes over 30 apples to make a gallon of cider.
